Baked Ham Popeye with Roasted Pepper Garlic Cream


Ham Popeye

1-Sheet, puff pastry
½ lb. Isaly’s Chipped Chopped Ham
1 – Roasted Red Pepper (sliced)
½ Cup – Spinach (cut into thin strips)
½ Cup- Provolone Cheese (shredded)

Roasted Pepper Garlic Cream Sauce

1 Cup- Heavy Cream
1 Cup- Milk
4 oz. – Blonde Roux
1 – Roasted Pepper (sliced)
1 – Bulb Garlic roasted
1 Tblsp – Shallots Minced
2 Tblsp – Butter


Sear ham in sauté’ pan. Add spinach then peppers, heat through.
Refrigerate till cool and add cheese. Season to taste.
Fill in puff pastry squares. Fold into triangles.
Bake at 350 degrees till golden brown and flakey.

Make the cream sauce first by heating milk and cream then adding roux to thicken.
Then sauté shallots in butter, add garlic.
Add pepper and heat through. Add mixture to the cream sauce.
Season to taste.
